A vulnerability was found in moziloCMS 1.10.1. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects an unknown function of the file download.php. The manipulation of the argument cat with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in download.php in moziloCMS 1.10.1, when magic_quotes_gpc is disabled, allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the cat parameter.
