A vulnerability was found in MyBB (Content Management System) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file misc.php. SQL injection vulnerability in misc.php in MyBB (aka MyBulletinBoard) before 1.4.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via a certain editor field.
The weakness was presented 09/10/2008 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at openwall.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2008-3965 since 09/09/2008. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
