A vulnerability was found in PHP-Daily (Programming Language Software) (version now known). It has been classified as problematic. Affected is some unknown processing of the file download_file.php. The manipulation of the argument fichier with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in download_file.php in PHP-Daily allows remote attackers to read arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the fichier parameter.
