A vulnerability has been found in phpBLASTER phpBLASTER CMS 1.0 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown processing. Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in admin/minibb/index.php in phpBLASTER CMS 1.0 RC1, when register_globals is enabled, allow remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via directory traversal sequences in the (1) DB, (2) lang, and (3) skin parameters.
The weakness was released 11/19/2008 (Website). The advisory is shared at milw0rm.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2008-5171 since 11/19/2008. The attack can be launched remotely.
