The bug was discovered 01/21/2009. The weakness was released 01/21/2009 with NGS Software (Website). The advisory is shared at us-cert.gov. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2009-0005 since 12/15/2008. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
