A vulnerability was found in Fujitsu SystemcastWizard Lite up to 1.9 and classified as very critical. This issue affects an unknown function of the file PXEService.exe. Stack-based buffer overflow in PXEService.exe in Fujitsu SystemcastWizard Lite 2.0A, 2.0, 1.9, and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a large PXE protocol request in a UDP packet.
The weakness was disclosed 01/15/2009 by Ruben Santamarta with Wintercore (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at fujitsu.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2009-0270 since 01/26/2009. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
