Google Chrome before 17.0.963.46 does not properly implement the drag-and-drop feature, which makes it easier for remote attackers to spoof the URL bar via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was presented 02/08/2012 by Collin Payne (miaubiz) with Chromium Development Community (Website). The advisory is shared at oval.mitre.org. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with Google. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2011-3964 since 10/01/2011. The attack may be initiated remotely.
