A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Hardkap Pritlog 0.2/0.3/0.4. Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument filename with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in index.php in Pritlog 0.4 and earlier, when magic_quotes_gpc is disabled, allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the filename parameter in a viewEntry action.
