A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in YANOCC 0.1.0. This issue affects an unknown part of the file check_lang.php. The manipulation of the argument lang with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in check_lang.php in Yet Another NOCC (YANOCC) 0.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the lang parameter.
