A vulnerability was found in miniPortail 1.9/2.0/2.1/2.2 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file search.php. The manipulation of the argument lng with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in search.php in miniPortail 2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the lng parameter.
