A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in IndexScript 3.0. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file sug_cat.php. The manipulation of the argument parent_id with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in sug_cat.php in IndexScript 3.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the parent_id parameter, a different vector than CVE-2007-4069.
The weakness was disclosed 02/19/2009 by d3v1l (Website). The advisory is available at milw0rm.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2008-6179 since 02/19/2009.
