A vulnerability has been found in Bookelves Kipper 2.01 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code of the file default.php. The manipulation of the argument configfile with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in default.php in Kipper 2.01 allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via directory traversal sequences in the configfile parameter.
