PHP remote file inclusion vulnerability in cross.php in YABSoft Mega File Hosting 1.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the url parameter. NOTE: this can also be leveraged to include and execute arbitrary local files via .. (dot dot) sequences.
The weakness was released 03/19/2009 (Website). The advisory is shared at xforce.iss.net. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2009-0966 since 03/18/2009. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
