A vulnerability classified as very critical has been found in SAP SAPgui up to 7.10. Affected is some unknown processing in the library webviewer3d.dll of the component ActiveX Control. Stack-based buffer overflow in EAI WebViewer3D ActiveX control (webviewer3d.dll) in SAP AG SAPgui before 7.10 Patch Level 9 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long argument to the SaveViewToSessionFile method.
The bug was discovered 03/31/2009. The weakness was released 04/01/2009 by Will Dormann as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). The advisory is available at kb.cert.org.
