The bug was discovered 04/14/2009. The weakness was disclosed 04/15/2009 by Esteban Martinez Fayo (iDefense) with Application Security, Inc. (Website). The advisory is shared at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2009-1005 since 03/19/2009. An attack has to be approached locally. A authentication is necessary for exploitation.
