The bug was discovered 04/14/2009. The weakness was shared 04/15/2009 by Esteban Martinez Fayo (iDefense) with Application Security, Inc. (Website). The advisory is shared for download at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability was named CVE-2009-1013 since 03/19/2009. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
