Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and 8 on Windows XP and Vista allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application hang) via a large document composed of unprintable characters, aka MSRC 9011jr.

The issue has been introduced in 07/27/2005. The weakness was presented 04/17/2009 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2009-1335 since 04/17/2009. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
