A vulnerability was found in ViArt Shop 3.5. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the file manuals_search.php of the component Error Message Handler. ViArt Shop (aka Shopping Cart) 3.5 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via a URL in the POST_DATA parameter to manuals_search.php, which reveals the installation path in an error message.
The weakness was disclosed 12/29/2008 (Website). The advisory is available at securitytracker.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2008-6759 since 04/28/2009. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
