Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in admin/index.php in razorCMS before 0.4 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) the slab parameter in an edit action, (2) the catname parameter in a showcats action, and (3) the cat parameter in a reordercat action.
The weakness was disclosed 04/16/2009 (Website). The advisory is shared at marc.info. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2009-1458 since 04/28/2009. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
The exploit is available at securityfocus.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:admin/index.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
Upgrading to version 0.3 eliminates this vulnerability.
