The IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) client 5.5.0.0 through 5.5.1.17 on AIX and Windows, when SSL is used, allows remote attackers to conduct unspecified man-in-the-middle attacks and read arbitrary files via unknown vectors.
The bug was discovered 04/05/2009. The weakness was released 05/04/2009 by Dyon Balding with Secunia Research (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at www-1.ibm.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2009-1522 since 05/05/2009. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
