Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Cisco WVC54GCA 1.00r22/1.00r24. Affected is an unknown part of the component Firmware. The manipulation of the argument next_file with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. CVE summarizes:
