A vulnerability has been found in webSPELL up to 4.2.0e (Content Management System) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the file src/func/language.php. Directory traversal vulnerability in src/func/language.php in webSPELL 4.2.0e and earlier allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local .php files via a .. (dot dot) in a language cookie. NOTE: this can be leveraged for SQL injection by including awards.php.

The bug was discovered 04/26/2009. The weakness was shared 05/07/2009 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at webspell.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2009-1912 since 06/04/2009.
