A vulnerability has been found in Supersimple Super Simple Blog Script 2.5.4 (Blog Software) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file comments.php. The manipulation of the argument entry with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in comments.php in Super Simple Blog Script 2.5.4 allow remote attackers to overwrite, include, and execute arbitrary local files via the entry parameter.

The weakness was published 07/20/2009 (Website). The advisory is available at milw0rm.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2009-2552 since 07/20/2009. The attack can be initiated remotely.
