Opera before 11.62 allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy via the (1) history.pushState and (2) history.replaceState functions in conjunction with cross-domain frames, leading to unintended read access to history.state information.

The weakness was presented 03/27/2012 by Jordi Chancel (Website). The advisory is shared for download at opera.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2012-1926 since 03/27/2012. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
