A vulnerability has been found in Vivvo 4.1.5.1 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file files.php. The manipulation of the argument file with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. files.php in Vivvo CMS 4.1.5.1 allows remote attackers to conduct directory traversal attacks and read arbitrary files via the file parameter with "logs/" in between two . (dot) characters, which is filtered into a "../" sequence.
