A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Ac4p Mobilelib GOLD 3.0. Affected is an unknown code of the file myhtml.php. The manipulation of the argument GLOBALS[page] with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in myhtml.php in Mobilelib GOLD 3.0, when magic_quotes_gpc is enabled, allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the GLOBALS[page] parameter.
The weakness was presented 10/28/2009 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at milw0rm.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2009-3823 since 10/28/2009.
