Integer overflow in the CrossCallParamsEx::CreateFromBuffer function in sandbox/src/crosscall_server.cc in Google Chrome before 4.0.249.89 allows attackers to leverage renderer access to cause a denial of service (heap memory corruption) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a malformed message, related to deserializing of sandbox messages.
The weakness was released 02/10/2010 by Timothy D. Morgan (SkyLined) (Website). The advisory is shared for download at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2010-0649 since 02/18/2010. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
