A vulnerability was found in Onnogroen Com Webeecomment 2.0. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown part of the file index2.php. SQL injection vulnerability in the Webee Comments (com_webeecomment) component 1.1.1, 1.2, and 2.0 for Joomla! allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the articleId parameter in a default action to index2.php. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.
The bug was discovered 11/04/2009. The weakness was shared 11/15/2009 by Jeff Channell (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2009-4650 since 02/22/2010. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
The exploit is available at exploit-db.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 11 days.
