A vulnerability was found in Zenoss 2.3.0/2.3.3/2.4.0/2.4.2/2.4.5. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the file zport/dmd/Events/getJSONEventsInfo. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in zport/dmd/Events/getJSONEventsInfo in Zenoss 2.3.3, and other versions before 2.5, allow remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) severity, (2) state, (3) filter, (4) offset, and (5) count parameters.
The bug was discovered 03/10/2009. The weakness was disclosed 01/14/2010 (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2010-0712 since 02/26/2010. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. The successful exploitation requires a single authentication. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. This vulnerability is assigned to T1505 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
