A vulnerability was found in AfterLogic WebMail Pro up to 4.5. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file history-storage.aspx. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in history-storage.aspx in AfterLogic WebMail Pro 4.7.10 and earlier allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) HistoryStorageObjectName and (2) HistoryKey parameters.
The bug was discovered 09/18/2009. The weakness was presented 10/05/2009 by Basti (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2009-4743 since 03/26/2010. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
