Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in createDestination.action in Apache ActiveMQ before 5.3.1 allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of unspecified victims for requests that create queues via the JMSDestination parameter in a queue action.
The weakness was disclosed 04/05/2010 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at activemq.apache.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2010-1244 since 04/05/2010. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit.
Upgrading to version 1.2 eliminates this vulnerability.
