The installer in Adobe Reader 9.x before 9.5.1 and 10.x before 10.1.3 allows attackers to bypass intended access restrictions and execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was released 04/10/2012 by Mitja Kolsek with ACROS Security (Website). The advisory is available at blog.acrossecurity.com. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-0776 since 01/18/2012. Local access is required to approach this attack. A single authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a private exploit is available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
