A vulnerability was found in Xlightftpd Xlight FTP Server up to 1.59 (File Transfer Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown function. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Xlight FTP Server before 3.2.1, when ODBC authentication is enabled, allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) USER (aka username) or (2) PASS (aka password) command.
The bug was discovered 03/19/2009. The weakness was released 04/22/2010 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2009-4795 since 04/22/2010. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
