A vulnerability was found in DokuWiki 2012-01-25 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the component User Addition. NOTE: this issue has been disputed by the vendor, who states that it is resultant from CVE-2012-2129: "the exploit code simply uses the XSS hole to extract a valid CSRF token."

The weakness was disclosed 04/17/2012 by Khashayar Fereidani with IRCRASH Security Community (Website). The advisory is shared at bugs.dokuwiki.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-2128 since 04/04/2012. The attack may be initiated remotely. The requirement for exploitation is a simple authentication.
