A vulnerability was found in TaskFreak TaskFreak! up to 0.1.3. It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function loadByKey of the file tzn_mysql.php. The manipulation of the argument Username with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in the loadByKey function in the TznDbConnection class in tzn_mysql.php in Tirzen (aka TZN) Framework 1.5, as used in TaskFreak! before 0.6.3, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the username field in a login action.

The weakness was presented 04/29/2010 by Justin C. Klein Keane (Website). The advisory is shared at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2010-1583. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
