A vulnerability classified as very critical has been found in HP OpenView Network Node Manager 7.53 (Network Management Software). This affects some unknown processing of the file getnnmdata.exe. The manipulation of the argument Hostname with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-119. Stack-based buffer overflow in getnnmdata.exe in HP OpenView Network Node Manager (OV NNM) 7.01, 7.51, and 7.53 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via an invalid Hostname parameter.
