A vulnerability was found in Daniel Mealha Cabrita Ziproxy (Firewall Software). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is the function png2bitmap. Multiple integer overflows in src/image.c in Ziproxy before 3.0.1 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via (1) a large JPG image, related to the jpg2bitmap function or (2) a large PNG image, related to the png2bitmap function, leading to heap-based buffer overflows.
The weakness was published 05/26/2010 by Stefan Cornelius (Website). The advisory is shared for download at ziproxy.sourceforge.net. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2010-1513 since 04/26/2010.
