A vulnerability was found in Masselink Com Picasa2gallery up to 1.1.0 (Photo Gallery Software). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument controller with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Directory traversal vulnerability in the Picasa2Gallery (com_picasa2gallery) component 1.2.8 and earlier for Joomla! allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files and possibly have unspecified other impact via a .. (dot dot) in the controller parameter to index.php.
The weakness was released 06/22/2010 by kaMtiEz (Website). The advisory is available at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2010-2507 since 06/28/2010.
