A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Open Web Analytics 1.2.3. This affects an unknown part of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument IP with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in index.php in Open Web Analytics (OWA) 1.2.3 might allow remote attackers to read arbitrary files via directory traversal sequences in the (1) owa_action and (2) owa_do parameters.
