The weakness was shared 10/06/2010 by Will Dormann with CERT (Website). The advisory is available at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability was named CVE-2010-3629 since 09/28/2010. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
