A vulnerability, which was classified as very critical, was found in HP OpenView Network Node Manager 7.53 (Network Management Software). This affects some unknown processing of the file nnmRptConfig.exe. The manipulation of the argument schd_select1 with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-119. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer. Buffer overflow in nnmRptConfig.exe in HP OpenView Network Node Manager (OV NNM) 7.51 and 7.53 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long schd_select1 parameter.
