Adobe Reader and Acrobat 10.x before 10.0.1, 9.x before 9.4.2, and 8.x before 8.2.6 on Windows and Mac OS X allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted image, a different vulnerability than CVE-2011-0567 and CVE-2011-0603.
The weakness was released 02/10/2011 by Tavis Ormandy with Google Security Team (Website). The advisory is available at adobe.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2011-0566 since 01/19/2011. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
