A vulnerability was found in Tincan PHPList up to 1.9.0 (Mailing List Software). It has been declared as problematic. Multiple cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities in phpList before 2.10.13 allow remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that (1) add or (2) edit administrator accounts.
The weakness was disclosed 04/13/2011 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2011-0748 since 02/02/2011. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
