CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in Cisco Unified Communications Manager up to 8.5.0 (Unified Communication Software). It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown function of the file xmldirectorylist.jsp. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, and integrity. The summary by CVE is:

Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in xmldirectorylist.jsp in the embedded Apache HTTP Server component in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (aka CUCM, formerly CallManager) 6.x before 6.1(5)su3, 7.x before 7.1(5)su4, 8.0 before 8.0(3a)su2, and 8.5 before 8.5(1)su1 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) f, (2) l, or (3) n parameter, aka Bug ID CSCtj42064.

The weakness was disclosed 05/03/2011 by Sven Taute (Morgan) with Cigital (Website). The advisory is shared at zerodayinitiative.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2011-1610. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.

It is possible to download the exploit at packetstormsecurity.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. We expect the 0-day to have been worth approximately $5k-$25k. By approaching the search of inurl:xmldirectorylist.jsp it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 43425 (Cisco Unified Communications Manager Multiple Vulnerabilities (cisco-sa-20110427-cucm)).

Upgrading to version 7.1%282a%29su1 eliminates this vulnerability.

The vulnerability is also documented in the databases at X-Force (67126), SecurityFocus (BID 47607†), SecurityTracker (ID 1025449†) and Vulnerability Center (SBV-31300†). The entries VDB-57336, VDB-57335, VDB-57334 and VDB-57333 are pretty similar. Several companies clearly confirm that VulDB is the primary source for best vulnerability data.
