Use-after-free vulnerability in Mozilla Firefox before 3.5.19 and 3.6.x before 3.6.17, and SeaMonkey before 2.0.14, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via vectors related to OBJECT s mChannel.
The weakness was presented 05/07/2011 by Mats Palmgren as Bug 634986 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is available at bugzilla.mozilla.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2011-0065. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The structure of the vulnerability defines a possible price range of USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 11/23/2024).
