Apple Safari before 5.0.6 provides AutoFill information to scripts that execute before HTML form submission, which allows remote attackers to obtain Address Book information via a crafted form, as demonstrated by a form that includes non-visible fields.

The weakness was disclosed 07/21/2011 by Miah (Website). The advisory is shared at lists.apple.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2011-0217. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
