The Citrix MetaFrame Password Manager 2.0, when a central credential store is not configured, does not encrypt passwords entered immediately after executing the First Time User Wizards, which allows local users to gain sensitive information.
The bug was discovered 04/02/2004. The weakness was disclosed 04/02/2004 by Citrix Technical Support (Agent) with Citrix (Website). The advisory is available at support.citrix.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2004-1902 since 05/04/2005. The attack can only be done within the local network. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
