A vulnerability was found in Extensiondepot Com Jsupport 1.5.6 and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file administrator/index.php. The manipulation of the argument alpha with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in the JSupport (com_jsupport) component 1.5.6 for Joomla! allows remote authenticated users, with Public Back-end permissions, to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the alpha parameter in a (1) listTickets or (2) listFaqs action to administrator/index.php.
The weakness was presented 11/12/2010 (Website). The advisory is available at xenuser.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2010-4838 since 09/13/2011. The attack may be launched remotely.
