A vulnerability has been found in Squiz MySource Matrix 3.28.3 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file char_map.php. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in char_map.php in MySource Matrix 3.28.3 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) height or (2) width parameter.
The bug was discovered 09/05/2010. The weakness was presented 09/06/2010 by Gjoko Krstic with Zero Science Lab (Website). The advisory is available at zeroscience.mk. This vulnerability was named CVE-2010-4901 since 10/07/2011. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
It is possible to download the exploit at exploit-db.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 1 days.
