A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Webmaster-tips Com Slideshow (version now known). This affects some unknown processing of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument catid with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in the Slide Show (com_slideshow) component for Joomla! allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the catid parameter to index.php.
